Hold onto your hat! Strong winds will blow across the Denver metro area on Monday, according to the National Weather Service.
“The winds will shift in the late morning and from noon onward we’ll see stronger winds with speeds 25-35 mph,” said Greg Hanson, meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Boulder.
On Tuesday there is a 20% chance of snow. The day is expected to be cloudy and blustery with wind gusts as high as 29 mph.
Breezes should continue to blow and Tuesday night where it is expected to be cold with a low around 7 degrees and a wind chill of minus 3.
Winds are expected to calm on Wednesday, when it is predicted to be sunny with a high near 44 and an overnight low around 24 degrees.
Thursday is expected to be mostly sunny with a high near 47 degrees and an overnight low around 25.
Friday is expected to be sunny with a high near 52 degrees and an overnight low around 25. On Saturday the mercury is expected to climb to near 57 degrees with an overnight low around 30. Sunday is expected to be sunny with a high near 57 degrees.
