Lucas Moerman lead Doherty with 20 points scored while also collecting 16 rebounds. Brody Gish had a productive night, recording 14 points, three rebounds and three assists.
Lakewood was lead in scoring by Michael Bennett who put up 10 points, while also recording two rebounds and two assists. Kyle Wisniewski had a notable night, scoring nine points.
Both teams will stay at home in their next contest, with Doherty hosting Liberty and Lakewood taking on Bear Creek.
