The Montezuma-Cortez Panthers easily handled the Monte Vista Pirates by a score of 73-29 on Saturday, Feb. 15.
Hayden Leggett lead Montezuma-Cortez with 11 points scored while also collecting six rebounds and one assist. Myra Simmons and Justina Bayles also had solid outings contributing 10 points and nine points, respectively.
Montezuma-Cortez will play host to Dolores, while Monte Vista will travel to play Centauri.
