Qualls’ triple-double lifts George Washington over Thomas Jefferson in 77-43 victory

The George Washington Patriots easily handled the Thomas Jefferson Spartans by a score of 77-43 on Tuesday.

Jaida Redwine lead George Washington with 23 points scored while also collecting five rebounds and four assists. Anisa Turner and Iyahnni Qualls also had solid games contributing 17 points and 12 points, respectively.

Thomas Jefferson was paced in scoring by Brooke Murrell who put up 15 points while grabbing nine rebounds. Grace Stelzer helped the effort by chipping in eight points, two rebounds, and two assists.

Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with George Washington heading to play Heritage Christian and Thomas Jefferson taking on Littleton.
