Isreal Martinez lead Sierra Grande with 24 points scored while also collecting seven rebounds. Caleb Scharsch aided the effort by contributing 15 points and six rebounds.
La Veta was paced in scoring by Carson Miller who accounted for 12 points, while also collecting five rebounds and two assists. Ty Brooks helped the effort by chipping in nine points and five rebounds.
Both teams will stay at home in their next contest, with Sierra Grande hosting Ignacio and La Veta taking on Moffat.
