The Merino Rams defeated the Wiggins Tigers by a score of 48-42 on Friday, Feb. 21.
Taysa Conger lead Merino with 22 points scored while also grabbing 11 rebounds. Hannah Pejsa-Stegner had a solid night, recording 16 points, four rebounds and four assists.
Wiggins was paced in scoring by Raelyn Koenig who scored 12 points, while also recording two rebounds and four assists. Caitlyn Jenson helped the effort by chipping in 10 points, four rebounds, and three assists.
In their next games, Wiggins will play host to Wray, while Merino will travel to play Prairie.
