Denver East wastes Davis’ double-double in 72-67 loss to George Washington

The George Washington Patriots defeated the Denver East Angels by a score of 72-67 on Saturday, Feb. 22.

George Washington was paced in scoring by Kendale Johnson who scored 23 points while also collecting seven rebounds. Kingbed agyemang and Eddie McPhee also had respectable games contributing 15 points and 11 points, respectively.

Denver East was paced in scoring by Boston Stanton lll who put up 15 points, while also recording two rebounds and one assist. Quis Davis recorded a double-double, scoring 12 points and racking up 11 assists.

In their next games, George Washington will stay home and play Pomona, while Denver East will travel to play Legend.
