On Thursday, Denver Public Schools announced that they were looking into ways to mix in-person classes and remote learning for the fall, Elizabeth Hernandez reports. It came on the heels of a report that the majority of students in Jeffco and Denver schools are engaged in online learning.
As more of the state readies to lift stay-at-home orders this weekend, Colorado public health officials reported 944 coronavirus-related deaths and more than 18,000 confirmed cases.

“To throw in something like this, which has a lot of people angry and frustrated, is bad juju, and itap something that is going to get my folks hurt,” Larimer County Sheriff Justin Smith said. “We’ve got angry protests at the capitol, the guy here with pipe bombs, we’re starting to get to a tipping point, and I’m just, I’m not going to walk us to the tipping point, I’m going to walk us back.”
