A driver is on life support at a hospital Thursday night after a multiple-vehicle crash in Aurora.

The crash happened on southbound South Parker Road near East Quincy Avenue, according to police. Southbound Parker was shut down from Quincy to East Lehigh Avenue.
About 6:40 p.m., police announced that someone had died in the crash. In a later news release, however, police said the driver of a Honda involved in the crash was on life support and she is “not expected to live.”
The driver of the Honda was northbound on Parker about 5:40 p.m., just north of Quincy when the vehicle crossed a median into oncoming traffic in the southbound lanes and hit three vehicles head-on, the release said.
Police did not report other injuries on Thursday night. An investigation is ongoing.
