Denver should see a slightly cooler day Monday, with temperatures peaking around 80 degrees under mostly sunny skies with a 20% chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1 p.m., according to National Weather Service forecasters in Boulder.
Monday night, forecasters are calling for a 30% chance of precipitation before midnight, dropping to a slight chance of rain between midnight and 3 a.m. as temperatures fall to around 56 degrees overnight.
That pattern of warm temperatures and the possibility of afternoon thunderstorms is expected to continue all week, with temperatures remaining in the 80s on Tuesday before climbing back into the 90s for much of the rest of the week, according to the weather service.
