Aurora fire crews pulled two dogs from an apartment that caught fire Thursday afternoon.

The fire occurred after 4 p.m. at a multi-family residential structure in the 11800 block of East Colfax Avenue, according to Aurora Fire Rescue. No people were injured, but one dog was taken to a vet.

Investigators are still working to determine the cause of the fire. Crews were able to contain the fire to one unit and said it’s now under control.
