Denver weather: Cool-down Sunday before light snow Monday

The Denver area will likely see less than an inch of accumulation Monday

After a warm Christmas weekend, temperatures in Denver will drop Sunday and the region could see some snow Monday.

There’s a 30% chance of snow Monday and a 60% chance of snow after 11 p.m. Monday, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder. The Denver area will likely see less than an inch of accumulation.

On Sunday, the Denver region can expect sunshine with highs in the mid-40s. On Monday, highs will drop to the mid-30s, according to the weather service, with overnight lows in the 20s.

Snow will again be possible Tuesday, which is forecasted to be sunny and windy.

The latter part of the week is expected to be cold but sunny.
