A 30-year-old man shot and killed Wednesday afternoon near South Broadway and West Virginia Avenue has been identified, according to a Thursday news release from the Denver Office of the Medical Examiner.
Edgar Arambula Barreras was taken to Denver Health following the shooting where he was pronounced dead, the OME release said. An autopsy revealed Barreras died from his gunshot wound. The manner of death is homicide, the OME said.
Denver Police said they didn’t have updates to the case or suspect information as of Thursday afternoon.
