In a year when buyers are taking very seriously the opportunity to work from home, HomeSmart agents Joanne Kleinstein and Ann Torgerson will show you a townhouse in Cherry Creek East that has a perfect WFH setup — a third-floor loft space with balcony views both to the east and to the west, toward some peekaboos of the mountains.

The agents had planned to list 8. S. Monroe Street on Friday, but rushed it to market earlier to get ahead of the snowstorm continuing this weekend. Priced at $799,000, the 2-bedroom-plus-office/3-bath unit in Cherry Creek’s Edwardian-styled Carriage Row development will be shown by appointment early this week as soon as the sidewalks are clear.  That will make it walkable once again to the host of dining establishments that are now poised to fully reopen in Cherry Creek—Chopper’s Sports Grill within a block; Cherry Creek Grill four blocks—Gates Tennis Center, Pulaski Park, and the bike trail closer still.

Kleinstein says Carriage Row has a sense of community thatap made for quick sales over recent weeks, with numbers of townhomes rapidly going under contract in the block. You’ll see a near-1,900-sq. foot unit with detached 2-car oversized garage; neutral finishes in a bright interior over hardwood floors on the main level; a see-thru gas fireplace leading from living/dining area to a kitchen with granite-top isle and stainless Miele and Bosch appliances; and a private, walled back garden.

The news and editorial staffs of The Denver Post had no role in this postap preparation.
