Two men shot in Denver on Thursday afternoon have died, and police are investigating the incident near the intersection of West Alameda Avenue and Federal Boulevard as a homicide.

The two victims were taken to a hospital, where they died, police said on Twitter.
Drivers are urged to avoid the area if possible. Police did not initially release information on a suspect.
