The Regional Transportation District (RTD) will begin work on the University of Denver Station Park-n-Ride this week.

RTD hopes to take advantage of fewer customers using the garage due to the pandemic in order to do what they call “important work.”

The project’s goal will be to do concrete spot repairs to various structural elements and the replacement of an expansion joint on the second level and the fourth level of the garage.

The repair work, starting Wednesday, is expected to last until June. The garage will be closed from the third level up for the fourth-floor repair work.

RTD hopes the repairs will give customers an updated facility when normal daily commuting returns.
