Human remains were found in the Eagle River near Edwards on Friday.
Deputies responded about 6 p.m. to a report of the discovery, according to an Eagle County Sheriff’s Office news release. The incident is under investigation.
Positive identification will be determined by the Eagle County coroner’s office. The coroner’s office will also determine a cause and manner of death.
