A man was shot Monday morning in Denver’s Highland neighborhood and later died from his injuries, according to tweets from Denver police.
Police officers investigated a shooting in the 2700 block of North Zuni Street, according to a 4:49 a.m. tweet. The victim was transported to a hospital. At 9:08 a.m., police tweeted an update that the man had died.
UPDATE: The victim, an adult male, has been pronounced deceased. This is now a homicide investigation. Anyone with information regarding this incident is encourage to call at 720-913-7867.
