Power has been restored at Denver International Airport after a brief outage caused flight delays Wednesday afternoon.
The Federal Aviation Authority lifted its ground stop, Denver airport officials tweeted just before 4 p.m., which will allow arriving flights to land and departing flights to take off.
Delays are still possible, airport officials said, though operations at DIA are back to normal.
Officials announced the power outage at 2:36 p.m., saying incoming flights would be held at their destinations and departures would also be delayed.
Trains to the gates and security operations were not affected.
Xcel Energy said it’s looking into the cause of the outage.

FAA has issued a ground stop for DEN. Flights in the air can still land at DEN but flights that haven’t left yet will be held at their destination until further notice. Departures are still occurring. Check with your airline for current flight status.
