The Florida native and her family just before her 17th birthday in order for her to pursue her Olympic dream, according to Southern Living. She punched her ticket to Tokyo in the 2020 Pan American Olympic qualifier tournament in March, becoming the first American woman to reach the Games at 57 kg since Diana Lopez in 2012. Zolotic took home the gold medal in the 52 kg sparring at the 2018 junior world championships and in 2019 she was a bronze medalist at the World Taekwondo Grand Prix in Moscow.
