A co-valedictorian of Silver Creek High School in 2013, Allman is heading to her first Olympic Games in Tokyo. She most recently took home gold in the 2019 World Championships, her first world championship experience. She grew up as a dancer and took up track and field in high school as a thrower and sprinter and began throwing discus so she could go to the annual spaghetti dinner the throwers held every year. She’s currently taking a leave of absence from her Master’s program at Stanford University to focus on training full-time.
