1. Valor Christian (9-0) won vs. Rock Canyon, 43-10. Gavin Sawcuk had a pair of rushing TDs, QB Colton Allen had two passing TDs and one rushing, and the Eagles moved within a win of their second straight undefeated regular season and fourth in five years. 2. Legend (8-1) won at Doherty, 49-7. The Titans locked up the 5A/4A South League title for the second year in a row after rolling to a sixth straight victory. Next week: vs. Chaparral, 7 p.m. Oct. 29
3. Cherry Creek (7-2) won vs. Eaglecrest, 41-14. The Bruins got back on track following a loss to Arapahoe, putting 41 points on the board by the third quarter en route to their fourth straight win over the Raptors. Next week: at Smoky Hill, 7 p.m. Oct. 29
4. Arapahoe (8-1) won at Smoky Hill, 38-14. The Warriors scored 31 straight points in the first two quarters to move one win away from clinching the Centennial League title outright. Next week: at No. 7 Grandview, 7 p.m. Oct. 28
5. Columbine (6-3) lost vs. No. 6 Ralston Valley, 35-14. Wesley Jones scored a pair of touchdowns, the last a 51-yard hookup with QB Brock Zanetell that tied the score at 14, but that’s all the Rebels could muster. Next week: at No. 9 Pomona, 4 p.m. Oct. 28
6. Ralston Valley (8-1) beat at No. 5 Columbine, 35-14. The Mustangs scored 21 unanswered points to blow open a 14-all game. Junior QB James Wochner, who had a pair of passing TDs, sparked the surge with a 13-yard scoring run. Next week: vs. Arvada West, 7:30 p.m. Oct. 29
7. Grandview (7-2) won at Cherokee Trail, 42-18. Liam Szarka accounted for three TDs (one passing, two running) and the Wolves withstood three passing TDs from CT quarterback Logan Brooke. Next week: vs. No. 4 Arapahoe, 7 p.m. Oct. 28
8. Regis Jesuit (6-3) won vs. 4A No. 3 Pine Creek, 24-14. Zavier Carroll put the Raiders on top with a two-yard scoring run in the fourth quarter, and Brooks Greig’s interception followed by a Ty Murphy field goal made sure it held up for Regis’ first win over a ranked opponent in four tries. 9. Pomona (6-3) won at Mullen, 21-7. Dominick Nichols put the Panthers ahead with a 10-yard scoring run late in the third quarter, Chase Muller added a nine-yard TD run and Pomona won for the sixth time in seven games. Next week: vs. No. 5 Columbine 4 p.m. Oct. 28
10. ThunderRidge (8-1) won at Highlands Ranch, 48-9. Jack Horsford had a pair of long TD receptions in the first half, and the Grizzlies secured their fifth straight double-digit victory to set up a league title showdown at top-ranked Valor Christian. Class 4A
1. Montrose (9-0) won at Air Academy, 50-7. The Indians put up 42 straight to trigger a running clock and move within a win of the program’s first unbeaten regular season in at least 17 years. Next week: vs. No. 7 Ponderosa, 6 p.m. Oct. 29
2. Dakota Ridge (9-0) won at No. 10 Golden, 45-38. The Eagles got everything they could handle for Golden, trailing 10-7 at the break, but a 38-point second half, capped by a go-ahead touchdown late in the fourth quarter, kept them on track for another league title. Next week: vs. No. 8 Chatfield, 7 p.m. Oct. 29
3. Pine Creek (7-2) lost at 5A No. 9 Regis Jesuit, 24-14. The Eagles took leads twice on Cannon Budge and Josiah Roy scoring runs, but were unable to hold on for the win. Next week: vs. Doherty, 7 p.m. Oct. 29
. Blake Barnett accounted for five touchdowns, Ryan McConnell was in on three turnovers on defense, and the Tigers notched their ninth consecutive double-digit win and clinched a league title. Next week: vs. Windsor, 7 p.m. Oct. 29
5. Loveland (8-1) won at Greeley Central, 44-3. The Red Wolves claimed the 4A Northern 2 League title in a rout. Next week: vs. Grand Junction Central, 7 p.m. Oct. 29
6. Palmer Ridge (8-1) won vs. Heritage, 48-14. The Bears scored 40-plus for the fifth time this season and second game in a row following a one-score loss to top-ranked Montrose. Next week: at Vista Ridge, 7 p.m. Oct. 29
7. Ponderosa (6-3) lost at Vista Ridge, 10-7. Vista Ridge quarterback Brayden Dorman found Mason Carter for the Wolves’ lone touchdown as they took a 10-0 lead after one quarter. Andrew Heidel hooked up with Max Mervin for a Mustangs TD to draw within three in the third, but that was all the scoring they could muster. Next week: at No. 1 Montrose, 6 p.m. Oct. 29
8. Chatfield (7-2) won vs. Standley Lake, 45-22. Mason Lowe had one touchdown running and another receiving, Jake Marschall added three rushing TDs and Niguse Shelp a pick-6 as the Chargers raced out to a 38-15 halftime lead and never looked back. Next week: at No. 2 Dakota Ridge, 7 p.m. Oct. 29
9. Fountain Fort-Carson (8-1) won vs. Pueblo West, 30-10. The Trojans defense scored a safety in the first half and held Pueblo West to a field goal in the second half to claim their sixth straight win. Next week: vs. Coronado, 7 p.m. Oct. 29
10. Golden (7-2) lost vs. No. 2 Dakota Ridge, 45-38. Jazel Riley IV had one passing touchdown and four on the ground, the last a 39-yard run that tied the game at 38-all in the fourth quarter, but the Demons could not overtake Dakota Ridge. Next week: at Bear Creek, 6 p.m. Oct. 28
