
Denver begins a mild weekend Friday as the city continues to experience above-average temperatures.
Good news! Increasing moisture is moving in which is raising humidities in the foothills. The strongest winds have also shifted to Jefferson/Gilpin/Clear Creek counties. It will be dry and windy in the foothills today, but not as extremely dry as yesterday.

According to the National Weather Service in Boulder, Denver will reach 62 degrees under partly sunny skies. Winds could gust as high as 17 mph in the afternoon with near 50 mph gusts in the foothills. Some light snow could develop in the northern mountains Friday night. Denver will drop to 33 degrees overnight.
There’s a 20% chance of rain after 11 a.m. on Saturday, but it will be mostly sunny, with a high of 56 degrees. Winds could gust up to 18 mph. Temperatures will fall to 27 degrees Saturday evening.
Sunday will push to 53 degrees with sunny skies.
Dry and warm weather is expected to begin next week, but a storm system could arrive midweek, dropping temperatures and possibly some snow.
