A 33-year-old man has been charged in the Saturday shooting death of his girlfriend in Adams County.
Jeffrey Aschenbrenner is charged with two counts of first-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder and possession of a weapon by a previous offender, according to the Adams County District Attorney’s Office.
The shooting happened near East 128th Avenue and Piccadilly Road, according to a news release. “The victim and her father were in her vehicle when the shooting occurred.”
Aschenbrenner’s next court appearance is scheduled for Dec. 27.
