Nikola Jokic had a monster week and the league took notice.

The Nuggets’ star center was named the NBA Western Conference Player of the Week on Monday after posting averages of 36.3 points, 11.3 rebounds, 10 assists and 2.3 steals to lead Denver to a 2-1 record.

It’s the 10th time he has won the weekly award, putting him in a tie for first all-time in franchise history with Carmelo Anthony. They are among six Nuggets who have won the award three or more times, along with Alex English (7), Dikembe Mutombo (4), Chauncey Billups (3) and Allen Iverson (3).

Jokic, 26, registered a pair of triple-doubles last week to bring his league-leading total to 11. He also moved into seventh all-time in NBA history with 68.

On the season, he’s among the league leaders in points (seventh, 26.1), rebounds (second, 13.8) and assists (ninth, 7.5), while guiding Denver to a 24-21 record.

Atlanta guard Trae Young was named the Eastern Conference Player of the Week.
