One man is dead, a woman was taken to a local hospital and a man is in custody after a shooting Tuesday at a Parker apartment complex.
Police received a call about shots fired at the Stone Canyon apartments, 19255 Cottonwood Drive, according to a 6:45 p.m. Twitter post.
The woman who was taken to a hospital has life-threatening injuries, police said. One man is in custody. An investigation is ongoing.
On Wednesday police identified the suspect as 27-year-old Cameron Dial. He is being held at the Douglas County Jail on investigation of second-degree murder, attempted second-degree murder and first-degree assault.
The Parker Police Department is currently investigating a shots fired call at the Stone Canyon apartments. It has been determined that there is no longer any threat to the public. There will be a heavy Police presence in the area during the investigation.
