After a weekend of windy red flag conditions, Denver will enjoy a temporary break from severe fire warnings Monday with breezy weather.
Not as windy today but breezy southeast winds will develop over the plains with gusts up to 30 mph. Otherwise it will be mostly sunny with temperatures slightly above normal for this time of year.

Sunny conditions are expected with a high of 68 degrees and winds between 5 mph and 7 mph under clear skies, the National Weather Service in Boulder said.
Wind is likely to pick up Monday night, with gusts reaching 16 mph with a low around 41 degrees.
Meteorologists think that this week will be warm and dry, with highs over 70 degrees predicted for the rest of the week.
