A suspected DUI driver involved in a two-vehicle crash in Thornton that killed a woman and injured her family is being investigated for vehicular homicide.

Patrick Charles Eisiminger, 43, of Fort Collins, was being held Tuesday at the Adams County jail, according to police.

A woman was killed and four family members were injured at about 7 p.m. Sunday in a crash at East 84th Avenue and Washington Street, police said. Three children and their father were initially transported to a hospital, but are now in good condition.

Eisiminger is also being investigated for DUI, driving under restraint, third-degree assault, violating restrictions on a temporary driving permit and having no insurance, police said on Tuesday.

An investigation is ongoing. Eisiminger is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday for a filing of charges hearing.
