A trailer truck hauling organic bricks caught fire in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 70 near Ward Road in Wheat Ridge, one lane of traffic and an exit ramp was temporarily closed by the incident.

The fire happened just before noon Friday, and firefighters with Wheat Ridge, Arvada and Fairmount fire departments responded and doused the fire. Firefighters remained on scene to make sure the load to not reignite. There were no injuries.
