Denver’s Juneteenth Music Festival takes over Welton Street in Five Points Saturday, June 18, and Sunday, June 19. The newly anointed federal and historically Black holiday started as a Texas-based celebration of slavery’s end in 1865. The annual Juneteenth parade kicked off the holiday weekend on Saturday.
