Police are investigating four shootings and a stabbing in Denver.
A person was stabbed in the Union Station area, near Wewatta and 17th streets, police said in a 6:15 a.m. Saturday tweet. The victim was taken to a local hospital.
One shooting happened in the 1600 block of West Evans Avenue, police said on Twitter at 1:56 a.m. A second shooting happened in the area of East Colfax Avenue and Lincoln Street, according to a 1:02 a.m. tweet. Both victims were taken to a local hospital.
On Saturday afternoon, a person was shot in the 1900 block of East 47th Avenue, police said on Twitter. At 6:26 p.m., police said that another person was shot in the area of South Colorado Boulevard and East Florida Avenue.
Further details on injuries were not released and investigations are ongoing.
