Grace Garret waits in line at the post office in Buena Vista on July 27, 2022. Garret lives in the town limits, but the Postal Service charges residents for post office boxes. It delivers for free to those outside the town limits in Chaffee County. On Wednesday Garret waited for a bit before giving up and deciding to come back another day after she texted a friend ahead of her in line who said she had been waiting for more than 20 minutes and was still 15th in line to be helped.
