A person was shot in Denver’s Capitol Hill neighborhood near a busy intersection on Thursday afternoon, police said.

Police received reports of shots fired near 9th Avenue and Lincoln Street and responding officers found one victim, police said on Twitter.
The intersection was closed to traffic by the incident and subsequent police response and investigation.
