A teenage girl was shot dead in Denver on Friday, and another teen is accused of the killing.
About 4:15 p.m., officers responded to the 800 block of North Yates Street on a report of a shooting inside a residence, police said in a news release. A girl was taken from the home to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

Investigators identified a 14-year-old boy as a suspect, and he was arrested Friday night for investigation of reckless manslaughter, police said.
An investigation is ongoing. The identity of the victim and the suspect were not released Saturday.
