Interstate 25 near Buckeye Road just south of the Wyoming border north of Wellington has reopened in both directions after a single-vehicle, rollover crash closed a stretch of the highway in both directions.
The crash happened at about 7:45 a.m. in the southbound lanes of the interstate, said Trooper Josh Lewis, a Colorado State Patrol spokesman.

The driver, a 42-year-old Berthoud man, was southbound in an SUV when the vehicle rolled, Lewis said.
The highway was shutdown in both directions, by the crash and so a responding medical helicopter could land, Lewis said. The driver was flown to a hospital with life-threatening injuries. The cause of the crash is under investigation. The driver was the only person in the vehicle.
All lanes of the highway reopened in both directions at about 8:45 a.m., Lewis said. Several ambulances also responded to the scene.
