An additional 41 migrants arrived at local homeless shelters overnight, Denver officials said Saturday, and 152 migrants are being aided at the city’s emergency shelter.

Thirteen migrants have left the city-managed emergency shelter of their own accord, the city said in a news release. Forty-eight have relocated to a church-run shelter, and 73 are preparing to unite with family or friends.

On Monday night as many as 150 migrants from the U.S.’s southern border arrived in downtown Denver by bus, prompting city emergency management officials to open an emergency shelter to house the unexpected influx temporarily.

Saturday’s update included information on “physical donations” that can be dropped off from 4 to 7 p.m. on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at Iglesia Ciudad de Dios, 5255 W. Warren Ave. in Denver.

New clothing for men, women, children and infants is much needed, especially winter wear, officials said. Underwear, socks, shoes and coats are on the list of items.
