A second victim in a southeast Denver stabbing has died, and a suspect in the case is being held for investigation of first-degree murder.

The incident happened on the morning of Dec. 7 in the 10100 block of East Harvard Avenue, according to police. One victim, 20-year-old Taylor Trevino, died at the scene.
The identified the second victim Thursday as 56-year-old Christina Hardin. The medical examiner was notified Monday of Hardin’s death at the , where she was taken by ambulance after the stabbing. She died of a stab wound and her manner of death is a homicide, the medical examiner’s office said.
Officers responded to the area on a report of a “domestic disturbance,” police said on Twitter.
The same day as the double stabbing, police responded to an assault a few blocks away at 2500 South Dayton Way where a man was taken into custody and investigators worked to “determine a possible connection between the detained male and the homicide/stabbing,” police said on Twitter at the time.
