
The winter storm brought on by a Siberian cold front has caused several road closures and canceled trips for several RTD rail lines.
The following roads were closed as of 4:30 p.m.:
- I-70 eastbound at Silverthorne due to multiple crashes
- U.S. 6 Loveland Pass in both directions
- U.S. northbound from Holyoke to Julesburg
- Colorado 14 in both directions Ault to Sterling
- Colorado 14 in both directions Rabbit Ears to Walden
- Colorado 14 in both directions Cameron Pass
- Colorado 61 in both directions Otis to Sterling

2:46 p.m.: Colorado 14 between County Road 30 and Long Draw Road has reopened.
2:41 p.m.: U.S. 6 between Sterling and the Nebraska border has reopened.
11:14 a.m.: Interstate 70 eastbound near Vail reopened and crash cleared.
11:05 a.m.: Interstate 70 eastbound closed between the Vail and East Vail exits for a crash, and CDOT advises drivers in the area to expect delays.
I-70 eastbound near Silverthorne remains closed due to safety concerns.
Colo. 67 northbound closed due to a crash at FS Road 342. Expect delays there, too.
10:55 a.m.: Interstate 70 westbound at Vail Pass Summit has reopened and the crash cleared.
9:30 a.m.: Interstate 70 westbound at Vail Pass Summit is closed due to a crash. CDOT advises driver to expect delays in the area.
Colo. 113 has reopened in both directions.
7:35 a.m.: Interstate 70 eastbound is closed in Silverthorne due to safety concerns from the storm. Multiple Colorado Department of Transportation traffic cameras show tractor-trailers stalled on the roadway or the side of the road.
On the plains, Interstate 70 was also closed from Limon to Burlington near the Kansas border due to safety concerns, the roadway reopened about 7:20 a.m.
In metro Denver, the RTD has issued a systemwide alert saying they are experiencing delays due to the weather.
On specific rail lines, from Union Station to Denver Airport Station due to either snow or missing crew members.
The , L-line and have at least six trains that have been canceled due to no operators available. that have been canceled.
In northeast Colorado, several highways are also closed.
U.S. 385 is closed from Holyoke to Julesburg.
Colo. 59 is closed from Interstate 76 near Sedgwick to Yuma.
Colo. 113 is closed from U.S. 138 to the Nebraska border.
Colo. 14 is closed from N. 10th Avenue to Sterling and County Road 33 near Ault.
Colo. 61 is closed from Ault to Sterling.
