Interstate 70 has reopened in both directions after it closed across most of eastern Colorado due to a snowstorm that dropped over 11 inches of snow in some areas.

The interstate closed from three miles west of Watkins to Rose Avenue in Burlington about 2:30 a.m. due to safety concerns from the storm and reopened about 7:45 a.m.

U.S. 36 in eastern Colorado from Last Chance to the Kansas border, and Colo. 71 from Limon to Brush reopened at 10:05 a.m. Colo. 86 from Kiowa to Interstate 70 reopened at 11:12 a.m.

Colo. 86 from Kiowa to Interstate 70 remains closed.
