Two males are dead and another wounded in a Lakewood shooting Thursday and police found multiple firearms at the scene.
Just before noon, officers were called to a residence in the 5200 block of West 14th Avenue on a report of shots fired, according to a Lakewood Police Department news release. Officers found three males suffering from gunshot wounds. One male was dead at the scene, another died at a hospital, and a third male was taken to a hospital and is expected to survive.
Investigators on Thursday said a fourth male was shot and he fled the scene before police arrived. On Friday police announced: “It no longer appears that a 4th person was involved in this shooting. All of the involved parties have been accounted for.”
Multiple firearms were recovered at the scene, police said.
UPDATE: Two victims have been pronounced dead. Another has been hospitalized. A suspect is not in custody but we do not believe there is any danger to the community.

On Wednesday afternoon police said they believe there is no continuing threat to the community related to the shooting. An investigation is ongoing.
