At Fidelity Investments, the past three years have been a wild ride as employees helped clients navigate the pandemic-driven stock market.

To help manage the chaos, the company added 750 new associates in Colorado and plans to hire an additional 100 in the first half of 2023.

“We’ve been busy answering questions and holding hands,” says Josh Deakin, Fidelity’s Denver general manager. “Itap been a wild ride.”

Fidelity works hard to ensure the company hires people with the right skills, then trains them so they’re prepared to meet the full spectrum of client needs.

“Our goal is to always be evolving our business, so we make sure we’re here and prepared for our clients,” Deakin says. “We want to always be ready to serve.”

Before the pandemic, Fidelity’s employees worked in offices full-time.

Now, the company requires employees to work in the office five days per month. They can work in the office or from home the rest of the time.

The company also changed its onboarding process for new hires, offered enhanced benefits, and added more career development opportunities.

“We want our employees know this is more of a long-term career rather than something to do in the current moment,” Deakin says.

Fidelity is committed to improving its employees’ lives.

Since 2016, the company’s been providing student debt relief to its Colorado employees, helping them save $3 million.

Fidelity works to keep its best employees, Deakin says.

“We believe itap important to create a culture thatap worthy or our talented associates. We want to provide a place where people love to live and love to work.”
