The Broncos used two of their five draft picks on defensive backs last month, but continued fortifying the secondary Monday by bringing veteran Kareem Jackson back on a one-year deal, a source confirmed to The Post.

Jackson, 35, will be entering his fifth season playing after spending the first nine years of his career in Houston.

He told The Post in January that he thought he could make 15 years in the league.

“Still feel like I’ve got a ton of gas left, at least in my mind to say I want to play two more years,” Jackson said then. “Physically, my body’s been holding up pretty good.”

Jackson started all 17 games for Denver in 2022 and has appeared in 193 games over the course of his career since being a first-round draft pick of the Texans out of Alabama in the 2010 draft.

Last year he had 94 total tackles (two for loss) for Denver. He’ll give defensive coordinator Vance Joseph another veteran option next to Justin Simmons.

Broncos Foundation expands commitments: The Denver Broncos Foundation announced Monday its plan to double its financial commitment to grantees and program partners while shifting its vision toward youth health-and-wellness initiatives, in-and-out-of-school programming and equitable access to career pathways.

“The Broncos have such an amazing tradition of serving our community, and we’re excited to deepen that commitment through the Denver Broncos Foundation,” Broncos owner and board chair Carrie Walton Penner said in a release.

Through the foundation’s new vision and financial commitment, it hopes to meet basic needs of children, allowing them to thrive mentally, emotionally and physically and prepare youth to achieve their full potential through activities and experiences to develop academic developmental and social competencies.

The foundation is a non-profit arm of the organization.
