ap: The March “swatting” threat certainly didn’t feel like a “hoax” to Colorado teachers and students who feared for their lives

A teacher in Summit County reflects on the fear of school shootings and the need for action

As we sat in the closet waiting to be told we were safe, I thought about what ‘everything within our power to stop school shootings’ would look like, and I came to the conclusion that it had to look like something.
