
A suspect in an Adams County homicide has been arrested after crashing a vehicle in Castle Rock.

The suspect left the scene in a vehicle and the sheriff’s office distributed a description of the vehicle to area police departments.
Police in Castle Rock responded to a crash Thursday morning in which the driver walked away from the scene. Officers determined the vehicle was connected to the Adams County homicide investigation, and took the suspect into custody in downtown Castle Rock, police said.
The homicide investigation is ongoing. Neither the suspect nor the victim were identified Thursday, and details about the suspect, including age and gender, were not immediately available Thursday afternoon.
