Man killed in City Park West shooting identified, police ask for public’s help with tips

A man died Thursday morning after a shooting in Denver’s City Park West neighborhood.

The shooting was reported in the 1700 block of North Race Street, according to a 7:23 a.m. tweet from the Denver Police Department.

The victim was identified by the Denver Office of the Medical Examiner as 26-year-old Marquise Huguley.

Anyone with information on the shooting, or on a suspect, is asked to call Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867 (STOP).
