A storm system moving through Colorado over the weekend could bring heavy snow to the mountains and a rain and snow mix to Denver.
The week will stay fairly warm, with highs in the 60s through Thursday. Friday, as the storm arrives, the high temperature drops to 53 degrees, then to the low 40s over the weekend.
Storm system still expected to move into the region this weekend. Considerable uncertainty to track and temps, affecting things like snow amounts and rain vs snow for the plains.
Stay tuned over the next few days for updates!

Forecasters at the National Weather Service in Boulder said it’s unclear how much snow or rain the state can expect during the system or the storm’s track.
The greatest probability for heavy snow is in the Front Range Mountains and foothills, but the Denver metro area’s forecast is more difficult to determine.
Freezing levels will be one of the main issues in determining how much snow or rain the metro area sees. Confidence for heavy snow in the metro area is low to medium, though.
Forecasters also said they don’t know how long the storm could last, but Sunday should be drier than Friday and Saturday.
