A woman died after a driver hit her in Lower Downtown on Saturday, according to the Denver Police Department.
The crash happened at the intersection of 19th and Larimer streets, .
Police in a said they are not conducting a criminal investigation because it appeared the woman intentionally stepped into traffic.
The woman was taken to a hospital, and police reported about 11 a.m. Sunday she had died.
The driver stayed at the scene of the crash.
