Getting your player ready...

Voters are at the heart of every election. We want to know what issues most matter to you. Your hopes and concerns will set the agenda for how we report about the issues — and the stakes — of the 2024 election.

The Denver Post is joining newsrooms across the state in doing something that we all need to get better at: listening.

Voter Voices 2024 asks Colorado voters what their priorities are in this election cycle so that we can report and write more responsive, representative and fair stories.

The heart of Voter Voices is a short survey built around a key question: “What do you want candidates to talk about as they compete for your votes?”

We want to know what your top three concerns are and how much faith you have in the election process. We’re asking you to tell us a little about yourself so that we can ensure that we are, in fact, listening to all parts of our community. You can choose to remain anonymous. We hope you won’t.

Colorado voters can be the guiding light of a model of election coverage that puts citizens — what you care about and why — first. So, please take a few moments to fill out the survey. We will use your contact information only to reach out if a reporter wants to better understand your comments. (One more request: Please do NOT use autofill when completing this survey. Doing so replaces a key question with the name of your hometown.)
