More than 900 flights were delayed at Denver International Airport on Wednesday due to wind as thunderstorms rolled across northern Colorado.
There were 924 flights delayed at DIA as of 8:32 p.m., . Most of the delays were on Southwest and United airlines.
The airport was on a traffic management program and departing flights were delayed by up to 1 hour and 45 minutes because of wind,
The delays resolved by Wednesday night, according to the agency.
