At least 486 flights were canceled and 890 were delayed at on Friday as heavy snow pelted metro Denver and Colorado’s Eastern Plains.

There were 1,376 total delayed and canceled flights at DIA as of 9 p.m., according to . SkyWest reported the most cancellations with 269, followed by Southwest with 127, and Frontier with 66.
On Thursday, 1,068 flights at DIA were delayed or canceled, Flight Aware data show.
“Airport operations are running smoothly,” DIA spokesman Michael Konopasek said. “Airport customer service personnel have not received calls to support travelers impacted by travel disruptions. Travelers are encouraged to check the status of their flights before leaving for the airport.”
